I wholeheartedly support this business. These stands are a good idea but I would make them wider pieces to add more stability to the stand. They fall over if the items are placed even slightly off balance.
The pocket stand doesn't have enough weight to it so it doesn't hold up my devices very well.
Also I bought this and a set of coasters, and it arrived in a box more than 5x as big. Not sure why it couldn't have been packaged in a smaller box or mailer and thus paid more for shipping than was probably necessary. The 2 items were wrapped in brown paper, but it was also stuffed with the same brown paper to protect the items. I almost recycled the pocket stand along with the brown paper because they were not differentiated.
The edges of the products were also kind of rough, wish they had been sanded down. Overall, pretty disappointed.
A great experience - I wanted a portable stand for my iPhone, and these fit the bill. It's great to see the signs of the former chopsticks used. The smooth finish and clever shaping of the wood make this product very attractive. Perfect size for slipping into a pocket or a purse. Kudos!
I ordered this small phone stand to "audition" the wood, and it was beautiful. Well-designed too--my phone didn't fall over. Next Christmas I am ordering bunches of these for my music students and friends. Can't wait until your modular shelves go on the market this spring!
