MVP Announces First Pioneer Partner, Legacy Fibers, Expanding Circular Manufacturing into Agricultural Resource Streams

VANCOUVER, BC — April 22, 2026 — One year after ChopValue announced its parent brand, Microfactory Venture Platform (MVP), the group is marking Earth Day with the next step in its evolution: the first pioneer partnership with Legacy Fibers, a fifth-generation family farm specializing in industrial hemp-based materials. Building on ChopValue’s network of Microfactory operations across 10 countries, MVP leverages the proprietary core technology to extend this vision to turn waste into a resource locally on a global scale.

Behind the scenes, MVP has been actively working with select pioneering partners to embed circular solutions directly into partners’ value chains. “This marks an important milestone in our journey,” said Felix Böck, Founder and CEO of ChopValue and MVP. “Over the past year, we’ve been building the foundation to extend our proven micro-manufacturing model, advancing new material and product innovation while converting waste streams into engineered, revenue-generating outputs.”

This pioneer partnership with Legacy Fibers marks the first application in action using industrial agriculture waste streams. Legacy Fibers brings a deeply rooted agricultural operation with a focus on sustainable hemp production. MVP is working with Legacy Fibers to create a platform that enables on-site value-added processing for building materials and furniture solutions, with commercial production targeted to begin in Fall 2026. This will generate higher revenue streams from materials that would otherwise be underused or sold at significantly lower value.

Hemp is a fast-growing, renewable crop that absorbs significantly more carbon dioxide than traditional forestry inputs and is cultivated in short growing cycles. The collaboration is focused on transforming hemp waste into engineered materials that align with MVP’s performance and durability standards for its commercial product portfolio.

“We started looking at ways to diversify our operation with a clear goal in mind: to create meaningful employment in our community and build something that lasts for generations,” said Matt Hanger, Founder and CEO of Legacy Fibers. “When we came across ChopValue, we were immediately impressed with their vision and accomplishments. They embedded what we hoped Legacy Fibers could achieve, a company that focuses on localized manufacturing and sustainability. We now have the opportunity to take this a step further, creating new value from what we grow while staying true to the legacy we want to build for both our land and our community. What their team has already proven with ChopValue, scaling a single waste stream into a global network, gives us confidence in what’s possible with hemp.”

MVP and Legacy Fibers Team

MVP offers two core pathways for partners: enabling companies to add value within their existing operations through localized processing, as demonstrated by Legacy Fibers, as well as providing manufacturing and retail businesses a vertically integrated plug-and-play solution to convert waste streams into final products within their own value chain. With additional pioneer partners currently in development across industrial and commercial sectors, further announcements will follow as it expands its ecosystem of collaborators.

About MVP

MVP (Microfactory Venture Platform) redefines global manufacturing with a hyperlocal approach utilizing a decentralized network of Microfactories to achieve net-zero production goals. With a mission to invest in untapped resource streams, progressive technology, and market development for sustainable commercialization of circular products, MVP harnesses circular design principles to transform under-utilized resources into value-engineered end products. The platform prioritizes purpose and the planet, without compromising its superior product performance for carbon storage. This maximizes the viability of a circular product economy while empowering people, the Most Valuable Players, in our communities. ChopValue, MVP’s flagship brand, pioneered this model by transforming recycled chopsticks into commercial-grade products through a global network of Microfactories, establishing the foundation for scalable circular manufacturing.
