ChopValue, the world’s leading circular economy manufacturer transforming used chopsticks into high-performance products, is proud to highlight its partnership with beautiful installations at the Canada Pavilion for the 2025 World Expo in Osaka. The World Expo is a global gathering where nations, organizations, and innovators come together to showcase ideas, technologies, and solutions under a unifying theme. This year, the Expo is centered on “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, inviting participants to envision a better, more sustainable future. The event aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), providing a platform for meaningful dialogue and action around global challenges.
Canada’s presence at the Expo, under the stewardship of Global Affairs Canada (GAC), is centred on the concept ofRegenerationshowcasing Canada’s diversity, creativity, and commitment to sustainability.
As one of several Canadian manufacturing innovations featured at the Canada Pavilion, ChopValue was chosen to design and manufacture custom furniture elements that reflect the country’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. With over 28 million visitors expected at Expo 2025 Osaka, the Canada Pavilion has created a memorable experience to represent the country on the world stage.
Taking center stage in the Canada Pavilion’s events room is a striking 7-meter-long boardroom table by ChopValue, designed to seat 22 and complemented by custom credenzas to complete the space. Merging design with intention, the installation illustrates a powerful statement about Canada’s commitment to sustainability.
ChopValue Japan also designed and manufactured the interior furnishings of the Canada Pavilion’s popular fast-casual take-away featuring Destination Poutine by Air Canada, which serves Canada’s iconic dish to offer a taste of home with a modern twist.
