ChopValue Partners with COLAB Digital to Showcase Material Innovation During Dubai Design Week
A month-long material installation introduces climate positive surfaces to the region’s architecture and interior design community.
DUBAI, UAE — November 3, 2026 — ChopValue Dubai is showcasing its innovative material engineered from recycled chopsticks at COLAB, a material library and resource hub connecting Dubai’s architecture and interior design community with new materials and design possibilities. Running from now until November 26, the installation will coincide with Dubai Design Week, taking place November 3–8, and invite design professionals to explore new possibilities for incorporating circular materials into the built environment.

The installation features a custom display wall showcasing ChopValue solutions, material samples, and a map highlighting the company’s global Microfactory network. The interactive feature invites visitors to share where they would like to see the next ChopValue Microfactory, reflecting the company’s vision for expanding its decentralized Microfactory network. The installation gives visitors an opportunity to explore the material’s distinctive aesthetic and potential applications across interior spaces, while connecting with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other professionals seeking innovative materials for their projects.
COLAB supports material discovery and sourcing through its physical material library in Dubai Design District (d3) and its global digital platform, Colab.digital. The platform connects design professionals with commercially available and emerging materials, providing inspiration, technical information, and direct access to suppliers.
ChopValue’s presence at COLAB reflects the growing role of material innovation in design, demonstrating how an under-utilized resource can be engineered into durable, design-forward surfaces. The company will be featured in a private industry event at COLAB on November 5, bringing together invited professionals from the design and build community.

“Design professionals are continually looking for materials that bring something distinctive to their projects while meeting performance and sustainability targets,” shared Charles Jabbour, Managing Director of ChopValue Dubai. “Through this installation, we’re excited to connect with the design community, exchange ideas, and collaborate on opportunities to bring our solution into projects across the region.”
Building on its growing presence in the UAE, the team will also have an activation at The Taste of Abu Dhabi, taking place November 13–15, 2026, extending the team’s engagement with the region through another major industry event.

The installation at COLAB will remain on display through November 26 and will be open to the public, giving design professionals and visitors an extended opportunity to discover the material and connect with the ChopValue Dubai team.
