TRINITY Debuts RENEW, a Sustainability-First Housewares Brand Utilizing ChopValue Technology at The Inspired Home Show

VANCOUVER, BC — March 18, 2024 — TRINITY Industries International, a leading player in the organization and home solutions space, proudly announces RENEW, their sustainability-first housewares brand, to bring locally manufactured circular products to North Texas. RENEW’s inaugural collection of housewares is currently debuting at The Inspired Home Show in Chicago for 3 days until March 19, 2024.

Recognizing the importance of sustainable practices, TRINITY has taken concrete actions in pursuing local initiatives alongside its continued efforts to optimize material usage and operational processes. With the goal to bring sustainable product solutions into their portfolio, TRINITY invested in ChopValue’s micro-manufacturing technology to establish their in-house RENEW product line.

“TRINITY's business model is fundamentally rooted in sustainability,” shares Cze-Chao Tam, CEO of TRINITY. “We are deeply committed to our planet and the preservation of its natural resources. Investing in the ChopValue concept for our product portfolio empowers us to take a tangible approach to innovate and expand our manufacturing capabilities responsibly, while actively working towards our environmental ambitions to reach net zero. I am truly passionate about the tremendous potential of RENEW by TRINITY to create a climate positive difference on an impactful scale.”

Grounded in a sustainability-driven ethos with a dash of fun, RENEW introduces a captivating collection designed to enhance every living space. From minimalist coffee tables to covetable kitchenware and even an inventive pet crate that doubles as a side table, each item reflects a commitment to putting the planet first with a touch of contemporary flair.

“We’re excited to provide TRINITY the technology and support to build their own sustainable product line,” expresses Felix Böck, Founder and CEO of ChopValue. “ChopValue has always represented more than just sustainable solutions; it’s a catalyst for inspiring other companies and brands to lead the change for a brighter future. We take pride in sharing our scalable manufacturing expertise to the TRINITY team, cementing a strong partnership to advance the circular economy.”

To date, they have already recycled over 250,000 chopsticks into the RENEW product line, saving 12,567 kgCO2 of emissions. With its strategic location in Texas, conveniently situated within TRINITY’s extensive US retail network, the Dallas Microfactory offers the company a means to minimize reliance on global supply chains. Their new operation will bring production closer to its customers while generating employment opportunities within the community to make a local, lasting impact.

About RENEW by TRINITY

RENEW is a company of innovative designers and passionate makers who believe in taking on the status quo with positive energy and innovation. As a sustainability-first brand, we’re ready to revitalize the houseware industry, set new standards for sustainability, and renew mountains of discarded materials otherwise headed to landfill. We take upcycling seriously, and we have fun doing it by making new, cool and covetable things for your home.

Launched by TRINITY in North Texas in 2024, we set out to transform housewares manufacturing with RENEW, a brand committed entirely to the creative reuse of reclaimed materials as the best way to conserve natural resources on the planet we all love.

Our approach to upcycling reduces energy usage, air pollution, water waste and avoids CO2 greenhouse gas emissions. That means we don’t harvest from forests, we don’t cut down trees, and we don’t waste natural resources. Rooted in quality craftsmanship and mindful manufacturing, RENEW is made in the USA to minimize our carbon footprint while creating jobs in our communities. RENEW manufactures with food-safe, non-toxic, and formaldehyde-free materials; we’re on a mission to reinvent the housewares business and do no harm to people or the planet. We strive to set a new standard and scale for sustainability with planet-first, artisan-crafted, American-made products for your home. Good as new... but so much better.
