  • Ensure sufficient working capital to support operations.

Tax & Compliance:

  • Oversee payroll tax and government remittances.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local tax regulations.

  • Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors; support audit readiness.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with operations and leadership to embed financial thinking into decisions.

  • Help build and improve financial processes as the company scales.

[Qualifications]

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA designation or in progress is an asset.

  • 2–6 years of finance or accounting experience; startup or high-growth environment experience is a plus.

  • Solid grasp of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance fundamentals.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities.

  • Strong communicator who can translate numbers into clear business insights.
