ChopValue Project Manager (Vancouver)

The ChopValue Project Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations.  You will be responsible for ensuring strategic projects and initiatives are delivered on time, and within budget. This role is a unique opportunity in a fast growth business, that’s making a positive environmental impact. You will work across functions, leading team collaboration ensuring projects are delivered with exceptional customer service.

This role has the potential to make a significant impact on the success of the business, through the nature of projects being managed. We are looking for a sharp individual who has the motivation, and solution-oriented attitude required to thrive in our Vancouver Headquarters.

Primary responsibility will include the ownership of strategic accounts. You will act as the go between Business Development, Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner, with meticulous attention to detail.

 

[Responsibilities] 

  • Manage strategic accounts: Support the Business Development function from an Engineering and Manufacturing Operations perspective. Ensuring pricing, samples and prototypes are turned-around in a timely manner, to specification. 
      • Coordinate pricing, samples and prototypes. 
      • Manage project specifications and records. 
      • Lead the delivery of pilot projects, and customer checkpoints. 
      • Lead the delivery of customer rollouts, and customer checkpoints. 
      • Lead the learning from projects and continuous improvement. 
      • Manage project budgets.
  • Project Manage the onboarding of new franchise partners. From training, through to the logistics associated with setting-up a new Microfactory facility.  
      • Manage project schedules.
      • Schedule resources required to support setup and training. 
      • Schedule materials and services to mitigate the risk of unforeseen delays.
      • Manage project budgets.
  • Manage custom high value projects for corporate locations. Support Business Development, to ensure seamless delivery of high value corporate opportunities. 
      • Schedule projects.
      • Lead delivery of projects.
      • Track progress and address roadblocks. 
      • Manage customer expectations and communications.
      • Manage project budgets.
  • Manage facility improvement initiatives. Project Management of initiatives to enhance Microfactory facility and process performance.  
      • Manage project schedules.

  • Manage New Product introduction initiatives. From time to time new products will be introduced, and these need to follow our NPI process to ensure all resources are prepared prior to launch.

    • 3+ years experience in Project Management
    • Previous experience in a small business/start-up environment
    • Proven dedication to ongoing education
    • Driven self starter, with a preference for shaping your own schedule
